1-Day Assembly Workshop – €400
During this workshop, participants select one of the available series models (Fontainebleau® full handle or Grimpeur®) for a knife valued at up to €170. Together, we assemble the knife using pre-prepared parts, step by step:
- Adjustment
- Pre-shaping of the handle
- Assembly
- Shaping
- Polishing
- Sharpening
At the end of the day, the participant leaves with their completed knife.
3-Day Knife-Making Workshop – €1200
In this immersive workshop, participants craft a knife valued at €360 using raw materials and templates (Fontainebleau® or Grimpeur®). The knife is made entirely through material removal techniques.
Day 1:
- Selection of blade steel: XC75, 90MCV8, D2, 14C28N, Suminagashi (Damascus steel available for an additional cost).
- Shaping of various parts (blade, spring, liners).
- Drilling.
- Preliminary beveling.
Day 2:
- Filework (guillochage).
- Heat treatments (hardening and tempering).
- Finishing and polishing of parts.
Day 3:
- Adjustment.
- Pre-shaping of the handle.
- Assembly.
- Shaping.
- Polishing.
- Sharpening.
At the end of the workshop, participants take home their completed knife.
